Cancellation Rights

Scope

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers (§ 13 BGB) who purchase goods or services from a trader (§ 14 BGB). For pure private sales between consumers (C2C transactions), there is no statutory right of withdrawal unless the parties agree otherwise.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party you designate, take physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Sample Withdrawal Form

If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete and return this form:

To [to be inserted: name, address, email of the trader]

  • Ordered on ()/received on ()
  • Name of consumer(s)
  • Address of consumer(s)
  • Signature of consumer(s) (only if notified on paper)
  • Date

(*) Delete as applicable.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts between private individuals (C2C). For dealer listings on the PFF Marketplace, the statutory distance-selling rules apply in full.
